Step 1: Choose Your Head
Start with clean, dry skin. Screw on the head that suits the area you're treating, switch the device on, and set the intensity low to begin with.
01
A diamond tip buffs away the dull layer of surface skin, the one that makes everything look a little tired. Different heads give you a finer or a coarser buff.
02
Draws out what sits deep in your pores, the part your cleanser can't reach. You'll feel a light pull as it passes, nothing sharp.
03
Turn it up or down until it feels right for you. Start low on the first few goes and work up once you know how your skin responds.
04
A head for every area, from around the nose to the backs of your arms. Smaller heads for the fiddly spots, larger ones for broader areas.
Everyone's skin is different, so individual results may vary. Many people find their skin feels smoother and looks brighter straight after a session. With regular use, a more even-looking texture and a clearer-looking complexion tend to become more noticeable over the weeks that follow. These describe the visible appearance of the skin, and results are not guaranteed.
Once a week is plenty for most people. This is a resurfacing step rather than a daily one, so your skin needs time in between. If your skin is on the sensitive side, start with once a fortnight and see how you get on.
Not if you use it as intended. Marks usually happen when the device is held still in one place or used at too high a setting. Keep it moving in short strokes, hold the skin taut with your free hand, don't go over the same spot twice, and start on the lowest intensity until you know how your skin responds. Some light pinkness straight after a session is normal and settles quickly.
As a general rule, smaller heads suit smaller areas like around the nose, and larger heads suit broader areas like the cheeks, forehead and body. Finer heads are the gentler option and coarser ones give more of a buff, so start finer and work up. The included guide sets out which head is intended for which area.
The device is designed for adult home use when used according to the instructions provided. Avoid using it over broken skin, open blemishes, sunburn, scars or areas of irritation. It isn't suitable if you are pregnant, have an existing skin condition, or have recently had cosmetic surgery or another resurfacing treatment. If you have any existing medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use, and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Unscrew the head after every session and rinse it under warm water, then leave it to dry fully before putting it away. Wipe the body of the device with a damp cloth and don't put it in water. Clean heads matter here, so it's worth doing straight away rather than leaving it for later.
